The festival‘s closing ceremony will take place on 16th April at the Lucerna Cinema from 8pm onwards. Everyone with a Festival Admission Pass is invited to attend.

The evening will begin with the award ceremony in which the following awards will be announced and presented; the Best Director and Best Film Award will be presented by the main competition jury; the best film in the ‘You Have the Right to Know’ category will receive the Rudolf Vrba Award; the Václav Havel Special award will go to the film which is thought to offer the most significant contribution to human rights awareness; the Mayor of Prague Award will be presented to the best short film; the Czech Radio Award will be given to the  outstanding use of music and sound in a documentary film; and the Plzeňský Prazdroj Award will be given to festival audience's favorite film.

Following the award ceremony the winning film from the main competition will be screened.
